French Macaroons trial and error

So this is my experience with trying to make French Macaroons. I started seeing pictures of these colorful macaroons on Instagram, and I wanted to make them so badly! They were just so adorable, and I like to bake sweets so I wanted to give it a try. I had a couple batches of really bad fails, but I finally found an easy recipe on a site called SortedFood and it worked! SortedFood even had a video of how to make their macaroons on YouTube, and that was very helpful.
I’ve always seen pictures where the macaroons are put together like sandwich-cookies that have some kind of filling like Nutella, or a jam, but since it’s still super hot where I live I decided to use ice cream instead. Anyway, here are some pictures!
