Review on Etude House Skin Mal:gem – Jonghyun Moist
Hey guys! 🙂 Today i’m writing a review on Etude House Skin Mal:gem (or Malgem) Jonghyun Moist. So let get started!
I’m not going to lie, half of the reason I found this product is because I like the K-pop band Shinee. If you don’t know who they are, I’m just gunna say, they are kind of really adorable and leave it at that. 🙂 Also, I was interested in the product because I ran out of toner and really wanted to test whether a korean brand would do better for my skin than the American one. Like I’ve said before I have so much trouble with skin products stripping my skin and making it uncomfortably dry, or breaking it out. There are five different types of Etude House Malgems, one for each member of SHinee. I decided to get JongHyung’s “Moist.”
First impression, you get quite a bit of product. The consistency is like a… gel like water? I don’t know how else to explain it. haha At first the smell was a little stronger than I would like, but it wasn’t a real problem or anything. It kinda smells citrusy but slightly cosmetic as well. The sent will fade away pretty quickly once you apply it to your face. (After using it for a while I don’t even notice the sent anymore.)
My skin tends to dry out easily, so even as gentle as this product is, I still need to moisturizes as soon as I put on or my skin will start feeling a little dry. I have a feeling there that wouldn’t be an issue with anyone who has less sensitive skin than me. And it could be that I’m using it in the winter when the air is especially dry.
In conclusion, I’ve been using this product for a few months, and I would get it again. I would probably try Key’s “Deep Moist” next time, but there is so much product, and I only have to use such a small amount I think it will probably be a while before I need to reorder. 🙂
Hope this review helped if you were curious about this product. 🙂 If you have any questions or suggestions, please leave me a comment and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
Keep it Snazzy! 🙂
